From Fairways to Futures: Lincoln Lodge Turns Over Charity Golf Proceeds to King's FilAm Home

On July 10, 2025, a meaningful moment took place at King’s FilAm Home Foundation Inc. in Corral Street, Gordon Heights, Olongapo City. What began as a golf tournament on a sunny May morning ended with something far greater—a gift of hope and support for children in need.

Members of Lincoln Masonic Lodge No. 34, led by their Worshipful Master Aurelio T. De Guzman, gathered for the formal turnover of proceeds from the 5th Lincoln Charity Golf event, which was held last May 2, 2025. While the tournament itself was a success in terms of participation and camaraderie, the real victory came through this quiet yet powerful act of giving.

Representatives from King’s FilAm Home Foundation, including Chairperson Rommel A. Andrade, Executive Director Julieta D. Andrade, long-time volunteer Mr. James Jacinto, and some of the children residing in the home, warmly welcomed the Lincoln Lodge members. The brief but heartfelt ceremony was filled with gratitude, as both organizations expressed their appreciation for one another’s efforts in creating brighter futures.

A touching moment unfolded when a group of children from the foundation performed a dance number as a show of thanks. It was a simple yet sincere gesture that underscored what the event—and the charity—was really all about: creating joy, opportunity, and a sense of belonging for children who need it most.
